JOIN US ONLINE for a service to celebrate the Resurrection

Date: 12th April 2020

Time: 10:00

Easter Day  -  Alleluia! Christ is risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia!

We cannot meet inside any of our church buildings today but, we can be together in spirit by sharing prayer and worship from our own homes. So please join us this morning at 10am when, through the medium of 'Zoom' our Rector, Chris will lead us as we celebrate the joy of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

You can find the readings and the collect here: Easter Sunday readings

To get a link by email to the 'Zoom' meeting, contact Chris or one of the churchwardens from any of our churches. Please join us a little before 10am so that we can meet and prepare ourselves for the start of the service.

'Zoom': It is very easy to join us on this. You do not need to download the programme onto your computer/tablet beforehand. Just click on the link in the email and follow the instructions on screen. When prompted, click 'Join with video' and 'Join with computer audio' (be sure that your computer audio and camera are on). You can mute your audio and/or video using the buttons at the bottom left of the screen so that you cannot be heard/seen (but will still hear others). Chris may mute everyone during parts of the service to avoid disturbance from background noise.

Following guidance from the Church of England and the Department of Health

ALL church services are cancelled until further notice.

Sadly, our church buildings must remain closed for now.

Please see the "Covid-19 Our churches online" section of our website for some resources to help you pray and worship at home and to keep you in touch with our family of the church.

As you celebrate the joy of the resurrection, alone or with family, you might like to read the scripture passages set for today:

Colossians 3:1-4

Matthew 28:1-10

Lord of all life and power,
who through the mighty resurrection of your Son
overcame the old order of sin and death
to make all things new in him:
grant that we, being dead to sin
and alive to you in Jesus Christ,
may reign with him in glory;
to whom with you and the Holy Spirit
be praise and honour, glory and might,
now and in all eternity.
